THE CEREMONY OF BUTTERFLIES
Issued the 3rd of the Midyear - 33AC

The apparent insignificance of a butterfly - how mesmerizing their journey from flower to flower - and most importantly how the mere flap of their tiny wings can impact the very world in the most drastic ways.
King Nardual Aeleth was a simple soldier when the elva returned to Enarion, solely a single spear alongside a thousand others, though it would not be long until his shield begun to shine bright alongside his compatriots - he climbed the ranks through perseverance and wit, eventually serving at the side of Queen Niserie as Lord Marshal. Fate soon made it clear that it had weaved for him a far greater destiny as wheels set into motion : after a short reign, Queen Niserie would put aside her crown and in her place would ascend the newly-elected King Nardual.
Sat upon the rooted throne the monarch hoisted up our peoples from disarray and under his guidance elva enjoyed flourishing prosperity the likes of which were heard before only in myth. Upon the hill of his death shines anew the bright future he left behind for Tor Ascara and her people. We mourn not his death, but celebrate his life.

Though the shadow of his greatness will govern for centuries to come, in his place upon the throne of roots ascends Elder Aelrie Haevathar, the wings of whom we pray will flap just as gracefully.
