To celebrate the transition of the decrepit and ineffectual Brennan government into the strong Estvo of Vetroy-Zapad, his grace and glory Vozhd An-Legia Jadec has decreed the announcement of a grand ball, with name declared as the “Burgund and Rouge Ball”. All are invited to join in the celebration and to indulge in the splendor of the trade-state, held on the Eclipse of 28 AC.

Food of all types will be presented in a dazzling array of color, texture, and most importantly: taste. Indulge yourself in the utterly delectable dishes, for the cornucopia of delight shall not cease in its splendor.

The Fine Art of Wine and its Enjoyment
A tradition amongst the Vetrii and Zapat alike, the refinement of wine into its most extravagant form has been whittled down to a fine science by our numerous wine experts. Come and enjoy samples of the rarest variety, for there isn’t a thing better than wine at a ball.

The Great Culinary Duel
For those attending, there will be an opportunity to prove your best cooking skills, bringing a dish of your choice to be tested and graded. The winner of this competition will have their food be the main dish of our next event, with generous compensation included in this purchase.

The Fashion of New Eras
During this celebratory ball, there will be a chance to win a gold prize for attending in finest attire. Vetroy Zapad’s very own council will be the judges for this short event. Be sure to dress lavishly! Be bright, boisterous! Let yourself be known throughout the world as a most fashionable fellow or madame.


The Dance of Fleeting Crescendo
And finally, to end the night, a formal dance will be held. Attendees are prompted to dance along with their loved ones, enjoying over 500 years of tradition. Pre-calamity pieces of music, memorized by musicians and passed down over the ages shall be played. However, it shall be only once. After the musical concerto has concluded, these rare relics of history will lie in the museum, never to be played again. A once in a lifetime chance to quite literally hear the history of the distant past.

Mischka would hold the letter up to her face, the corners of her mouth upturning and forming into a bright smile as she read the contents of the letter aloud to herself.
