The Magic Convocation
of 103A.C.

Across the various nations that inhabit Enarion, pamphlets are stacked by noticeboards and given to taverns or teahouses to deliver to the common populace. Besides serving as invitations for civilians, it also served as a way for those with magic in every walk of life to be reached out to.

Through efforts to curb hostile happenstances that continue to thwart the livelihood of not only innocent magicians but also pose an imminent threat to civilians across Enarion, the Magic Convocation of 103 A.C. is called to take place in the months before the Eclipse in Glarenydd. At the Magic Convocation of 103 A.C., leaders, diplomats, augurs, mages, and others interested in the notion of magic in present-day Enarion will be able to weigh in on topics and also reach potential conclusions on the future of magic moving forward.​

On the agenda, the following topics will be brought up at the Convocation; any topics that nations or figureheads of groups might wish to add must be mentioned beforehand, to keep the Convocation on track and prevent idle discussion.​

• The subject of 'the Spiral'; Its sudden disappearance, and how to proceed.
• The subject of mass pact-making and the possibility of an invasion of otherwordly origin and possible countermeasures to be taken.
• The subject of the creation of a magic organization dubbed the Lunar Conclave; what impact this will have on the regulation & education of magic moving forward.
• The subject of curse curation and removal, due to the extreme frequency in which they have appeared.
• The subject of the evolution of magic and the possibility of laws or regulations created to jurisdict future appearances of the arcane, divine, or natural.
• The subject of the recuperation of the Druids and the possibility of a issue occurring from the lack of keepers of the woods.

Notice of Clarification

​

To make sure it is clear for those who may be interested in attending, everyone is able to attend. It is simply advised those with an interest in magic attend, and those that were personally invited attend in order to weigh in on the discussion that may directly impact them as magic users or those in the fields of religious ventures.

[tl;dr even if you were not directly invited, you're still okay to attend!]

For the duration of the Magic Convocation of 103 A.C., blood elves and those banished for affiliation with them are granted temporary pardon to attend for the sake of neutral discussion. However, should they cause any disputes or conflict - they will be immediately escorted out. Following the adjourning of the Convocation, blood elves and those banished will have an hour to vacate Glarenydd's territories.

“I didn’t need an invitation to come and flirt with Morrie.”

A tired elfess proclaims, her visage set with a jovial grin. She reads the small pamphlet and folds a neat crease into it as her paper-making buddy would do, storing it as she thought of the purple woman.

“But I’ll certainly be coming. Oh, for the Lidomast too!”

Finishes Inaya, the notice slipped away into her robes as she pranced away.

 

[Totalore]

"I don't have a title,' Neplatne noted. "The simplicity is appreciated. Though, I do wish for an age limit. Prodigies, some, but still young and without proper sense."

"You don't like children?" a witch asked.

"I do not. Children are excruciating on my patience. I find them whiny."

"Anything else?"

"People of little or no magic being invited to the convocation concerns me."

 

[Tharask]

"Vuu-vaa, vuu'h! Enchanter? Enchanter?!" Maul chanted. "So much brain! So much people! So much.. anxiety. So much.. problem. Dam'it!"

"Y'uh don't like Mundane people?" the sister asked.

"I do! But I don't give shite about their opinion if they're goin' there!" the brother harshly replied.

"Whatever, whatever.. you're noisy."

 

[HellsBelles]

"I'm invited?-"

A insignificant woman sat within her turret, comforted by a large mountain of paperwork; and the presence of her lover. Turning to the shrine behind her, a prayer was muttered.

"Father of knowledge, so grace me, so that i do not look a fool in front of the very smart attendees"
Let's hope that was answered, shall we?

"YIPPEE! My love- Look so! We are invited!"​

Catarina D’or would look over the pamphlet and nod as she wished to see what was to take place at this event. It would be good for the peoples of Enarion to form a collective to defend against possible threats in the future. Perhaps they would be interested in other members who used unknown magics.

Li Quan merely glances at the notice, reading it over of details before pocketing it.
"Suppose it's been a while Lidomast. Suppose we ought to do something less important than merging continents." The ex-planestrider mummered, returning to his afternoon tea.

At first, the woman seemed a little too excited about being invited to such a gathering. How interesting- that this was something she was noticed for. Under her breath, she gives her thanks to the Lidomast- before setting the pamphlet aside, and beginning to brush off the Violet Sin, then stepping out into the sunny streets of Glarenydd.​

 

[Melweaver]

"WHAT!? What are you- ooo.."

Called a rather ink-stained elf, he'd been sat across a turret... watching as his partner made her silent prayers, he wrapped her up in a hug as he read, merely peeking over her shoulder.

"Oh don't you worry Tarquin, you'll be just about fine! Most hold you to high regard, I certainly cannot say the same for myself."

Aion! The curse-collector, world ending disaster starting elf himself left his lover with a swift peck to the cheek, before retreating to his side of the turret! placing his quill to a piece of parchment, helping with whatever copious amounts of paperwork Tarquin had amassed!

"Hm, an organization for the regulation and education of magic..." - The cheerful man muttered, still reading the missive. His lips curled into a smirk - "Who would've thought she, of all people, would propose such in the end. Have I won the argument, I wonder...?"

 

[Gage]

That man still calls himself a priest of atl?! " the woman was outraged at this as she ripped the part off of the missive " Cowards and cheaters do not deserve to be affiliated with the Nexah... none the less i will attend this one.. even if it is on elven lands.. an opportunity such as this one is to great to pass...

 

[gross]

The archaic scribe sits alone on the roof of their beloved lighthouse, out of sight, yet observant of the below. They're humming a sea shanty, placid and tender, reveling in their serene solitude, undisturbed. Caressed by the tender yet condensed winds of the Silver Sea, embraced by their element, their yearning for tranquility is sated in the very moment.

Reality pulls them back with the gentle flicker of feathes. They crack their lids open slightly, their amber eyes focusing on the winged creature. The scribe straightens up some.

"Oh what do we have here...?" They coo at the messenger that flutters above them. "Are you sure it is me you're looking for? I suppose I can't just expect to be forgotten this easy..." They offer their leather covered hand for the bird to perch onto, followed by the other to extract the delivered pamphlet. Their expression softens immediately as they recognize the familiar handwriting. As the librarian scans the lettering at record speed, they idly stroke the bird's chest with their thumb in a delicate manner, thanking it for a job well done. Their eyes remain half lidded, gentle, affirmative hums emitting from them as they finish up, reading the invitation list. They snicker softly.

"Am I truly the only other sorcerer on the list...? Either we're a dying breed or the others are of less importance... My my have times changed... I suppose my overseeing is still welcome, on the home field no less." They smile at the unassuming avian. "Grant me but a moment to scribble up a reply for the good Archmage..." They hum softly before pulling out a leathery notebook of theirs along with a small roc quill.

The messenger is despatched with a neatly written letter, back to the sender.

 

[Nardi]

As the alchemist sat alone in their study it was quiet a little too quiet even for the alchemist. As they glanced around their study there was nothing out of the ordinary at first. There was only a dim light coming from a small candle off in the corner of the room which only made small sounds occasionally. It was not shortly after their brief glance around the room did they get bombarded with their assistant rushing into the study. A loud scream was heard from the Alchemist covered by a quick grasp of their chest before spouting out in panic. "Wha... you SCARED me!" They claimed as embarrassment took ahold of their thoughts. It wasn't shortly after did the Alchemist receive the pamphlet.

The alchemist hoped it was not yet another missive about this Keno individual they rudely stomped on their paper. And luckily for them it was not. There was a lot of text on the paper which led the alchemist to 'giving up' on reading the entire thing. They asked whining to the assistant. "There's too many words! read it out to me." Unfortunately for the assistant they ended up reading the pamphlet to the lazy alchemist. As they finished the read-along session it grew dark in the study.

"I'm.. invited? Umm.. last time I went to these I sat behind mister tree.. Owen! I miss Owen.." A collection of tears began to form upon the their eyes dripping down their face before the scene ends.

 

[Valkealainen]

"Hwy hafian þræl's been laþianed to a metynge af swuch importantia? Yit, nan ealdormann's! Disgracefull, shame and curse be upon House Isilme. For being disgraceful hosts and to this wicche. Bi Sunne's hyld ih willan atendre þis horehous ond wippen hit to gesceap!" The very, very, very, very sober young man proclaimed with sensational applause after indulging himself in a few dozen mugs of mead.

 

[LeonFrostfire]

"Another? Hmph. After all this time." The woman once known as Little Fox muttered as she entered her chosen mother’s old house. Dust and a curious fox trialled after her as she strode through to the stairs with barely a glance around the familiar yet alien house.

“How long has it been? I wonder, da? Yarrow?” She spared a glance at the fox.

A flick of her tail was all the vixen replied.

“Uncle must have taken note of the last one.”

The ageing woman came to halt as she crested the stairs. The door was open. Light shone through it, much as it had decades before. Nothing had changed. She could even see the crib her cousins had never used. The room she had died in. A death no one could bear to tell her. "I really must get around to bless-"

Yarrow, on the other hand, had no such pause. The vixen brushed past her and dived onto the bed, disappearing in a cloud of dust.

“Yarrow!” The ginger woman rushed in to see the fox pop her head up, ears perked and panting happily. “Honestly. Some manners, da?” The woman shook her head as watched the vixen prance around the bed, diving in and out of dust clouds. “By the Three. You really are the vixen of my youth, aren’t you? Hmm? Just keep the dust to the bed. Now,” she made her way to the desk, using an empty book to brush away the dust. “What does uncle have that may be of use… Certainly something. When is this meeting agia-”

A glance at the notice had her seething in an instant. “Truly, da? Truly, oh dear Kine? You know my schedule by now. Erontt Nyah, kri mudak!” She cussed, as dust began to waft her way, as Yarrow continued her fun. The fox paused, though only long enough to check this was one of the woman’s regular rants.

“Fine,” she held out her hands, breathing slowly now. “I shall just have to send the students. Looks like they’re all invited anyway. Oh, wait. Nyet… Not… Well, probably just as well.” She placed down the notice as she looked over the shelves before her. “Not like I have not been teaching already, nor planning on expanding the school. Hmph. Maybe they can all use it once it is done. If the dwarves do not have a fit over where it is first. Hmph!”

“Now… What does uncle have that I could send along…” The woman, who now owned a grey fox for unknown reasons, made her start on her uncle’s dust collectors.

… Meanwhile, in Castle Grimm.

“Hah! What wonderful news. I see a name missing from this list.” The Baron chuckled to himself by the fire, speaking to someone, or perhaps no one at all. “A wise choice dame Lidomast. As for my own invitation…” He rolled up the parchment, casually tossing it into the flames. “Despite your haunting words, I will leave the magic to you mother, Yulia.” He spoke this time to the fire before him. “May the Fathers be with her if she attends.”

There was a lot of text on the paper which led the alchemist to 'giving up' on reading the entire thing. They asked whining to the assistant. "There's too many words! read it out to me."

Eriar vort Limlugnîn narrowed his eyes as he reads the message.
The first captain nodded with approval as his titles were properly done for once!
How curious, he thought, a good old talk about magic.
His gaze then turned to Sírion vort Limlugnîn, as Ethirion was nowhere to be seen in the house, lofting a brow to the bow before a chuckle followed such.
"Seems I will not be home for dinner that day- can you and your brother take care of yourselves or do I need to take you both with me?"​
