G’day all,
So, in the interests of making a first step to further communication, I would like to apologise to the groups of both Fyrmana and Calendale. I took on a role, as a royal council member that is native to Fyrmana, not an immigrant (and yes, that specifically mattered to the RP), who was to attempt to calm down the rising tensions. Unfortunately due to my busy life, both on the server and in real life; my mental health recently (not bad, and yes I am okay, but it just got in the way of focusing); along with my own lack of communication until later on; I did, via inaction, add to the establishment of an aggressive narrative that simply wasn’t intended. I am not solely to blame, of course, but I am aware that my inaction did not help.
I have always tried, to some extent, to foster a positive environment, and will always try even more in the future. I obviously can not undo or completely counter some acts done in bad faith by others, but my inaction did leave a gap in the picture of what was an attempt at a peaceful resolution.
As such I will over the next week work to rectify that gap in the roleplay. And now… On with the show.
